Limited Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

NiuLiving, an authorized Saladmaster dealership based in Vancouver, BC, guarantees that all Saladmaster products sold are free from material and manufacturing defects when used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

 

2. Warranty Scope


  • All Saladmaster cookware and non-electrical components purchased from Niu Living are covered by Saladmaster’s limited lifetime warranty.

 


  • Electrical components, such as heat regulators and cords, are covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

 

3. Legal Warranties

In accordance with Canadian consumer protection laws, customers may also be entitled to implied warranties, including:

  • Suitability for intended purpose
  • Reasonable durability
  • Freedom from hidden defects

 

These rights vary by province and are in addition to the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

 

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

If a defect covered by the warranty arises, the customer must:

 

  • Contact NiuLiving at: support@niuliving.ca
  • Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue
  • Obtain a return authorization number and ship the product, prepaid and properly packaged

 

Upon inspection, NiuLiving will repair or replace the defective product free of charge during the warranty period. Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling costs involved in returning and receiving the product, regardless of the warranty outcome.

 

5. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

 

  • Misuse, abuse, or negligent handling
  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, discoloration, stains)
  • Damage from excessive heat
  • Repairs performed by unauthorized service providers

 

6. Limitation of Liability

NiuLiving’s responsibility is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

7. Consumer Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to all rights and remedies under British Columbia and Canadian consumer protection laws, and does not affect those rights in any way.
